My Role as Director of District Services
I’ve been in my role at RMD for over two and a half years now. I really enjoy the job and am blessed to be part of a great team of people working to serve the Lord. I see the fruits of the Spirit lived out daily, which was not always a common occurrence in my previous marketplace career job.
This month I would like to remind everyone what my role entails and how I may be able to help our churches. I would like to be your first call for help in any of the areas below. If I don’t have an answer or solution myself, I have access to resources that can help.
- Financial Management – I handle the accounting, budgeting, and record-keeping for the District. I am available to help churches with any questions or issues in these areas as well. We use Quickbooks software for District finances, but I am generally able to handle questions related to other products and processes. I can assist your church with financial reviews which should be conducted every 2-3 years.
- Reimbursement Requests- Please send all reimbursement requests to me. This includes committee mileage, IW tour expenses, and any expenses related to events you may be hosting for the District.
- Payroll, Human Resources, and Employment Record Keeping
- Tax, Legal, and Insurance- I am not able to give tax or legal advice, but I am able to make sure your problem is defined correctly and if we can’t solve it on our own, I will obtain expert assistance.
- District Communications- Communication from the District is a team effort. Ultimately, I am responsible for the quality and effectiveness of our communications. If you have feedback about our emails, website, newsletter, etc., I would love to hear from you.
- Infrastructure- I manage technology and maintain our facility in Billings. I can consult on these areas including cybersecurity and building safety and security.
I delight in engaging with our churches and would like to get to know more of you. If I can help you with any of the above areas and free up more time for you to do Kingdom work, do not hesitate to reach out.
