Alliance Health Plan Updates
2026 Rate Adjustment
On average the rates for the Alliance Health Plan will increase by 5% across the board. Official rates will be released near the end of this month as we near the Open Enrollment date of October 27, 2025, but we wanted to pass this information along as soon as it was available to us.
Provider Network Change
Beginning January 1, 2026, the health plan will transition away from the Aetna network to the Cigna network. Both of these networks are very comprehensive, and the effect to health plan participants is estimated to be very minor. If you would like to view the new provider network, you can do so by following the steps below:
- Visit www.cigna.com and click on “Find a Doctor” in the blue banner at the top of the page (this will open a new window).
- Next, choose the first box option labeled “Employer or School”.
- Then, enter your zip code (or the zip code you want to search).
- Next, click on one of the three search options (Name, Type, or Facility) and click “Search”.
- Immediately a pop-up will appear asking if you want to login. Select “Continue as Guest”.
- The following page will give you the option to select a plan before proceeding. Click “Continue”. DO NOT click “Continue without a plan”.
- Finally, select the “PPO, Choice Fund PPO” option.
The impetus for this network change was largely the positive effect it will have on our International Workers. The Cigna network will offer our International Workers a far superior overseas network and claims submission process than they previously experienced.
