We look forward to gathering together at the end of the month for Ignite to be held at Gallatin Valley (Alliance) Church in Bozeman, MT. We will kick off the event on Monday night with worship and the first message from Tom Flanders, followed by an ice cream social at the church. Tuesday and Wednesday will include more worship, messages and plenty of free time for rest and relaxation.
Associate Pastors, don’t forget to register for the lunch on Wednesday.
Lastly, YAA has offered to open their facility up to all Ignite attendees to drop in on Tuesday afternoon anytime from 3:00-6:00pm to enjoy onsite activities such as shooting, hiking, rock climbing, and an archery tag game at 5:00pm. On the outskirts of Cleveland, a church is being planted… right inside a prison. More than just an outreach, this long-term ministry provides proclamation of the good news to those who haven’t heard, a family to those who will never leave, and a link to another church family on the outside for those who will one day be released. Take a moment to watch the video below and share it with your church as a reminder that there are innumerable ways in which the gospel can be planted.

Policies, Procedures, & Good Practices
Let’s face it, you probably didn’t imagine hours of administration, policies, and procedures when you signed up to do youth ministry. I mean, we have verbally communicated expectations and our practices, that’s enough… right? Join Ben and Harry as they share the 90/10 principle and how important it is that when we communicate and create clear policies and procedures, we will build trust with leaders and parents.

AMIGO Ministry Update
Recently a team returned from ministering with our Mexican C&MA partners in the Sierra Madre mountains to reach the native Tarahumara people with the gospel. The 13-person crew from Saratoga, WY and Helena, MT worked on different construction and ranch projects, as well as several ministry endeavors with local pastors. A full report is linked below that is well worth the read. Please prayerfully consider giving to the AMIGO Fund and joining the next team in March 2025. Call or email Chris Tweedy with any questions.

Some of you may have heard already, but we are excited to be able to take some time at Ignite this month to introduce you to the newest International Workers from the RMD, Stephen and Kelli Nelson. Stephen has been pastoring at Chester (MT) Alliance Church for the last 13 years, and over the last couple of years the Lord has brought into fruition their call to serve in Japan. We will hear more of their story at our time together in Bozeman, but for now, please begin praying for them and for God to bring supporting churches around them. Below are links to a couple of videos that give some insight into the ministry setting to which they are headed.

With the fall IW tours scheduled to begin shortly, it might be a good time to remind your church how we fund international missions. The video below is a short, well-done clip that describes the new simplified funding structure in a way that will be helpful for both seasoned Alliance members and those new to the Alliance.
