The Ignite Conference is designed to be a time of encouragement and refreshment for all RMD Official Workers and spouses. Ignite 2023 will be held September 25th through the 28th at First Alliance Church.
If your spouse is planning to attend, please remember to register your spouse as well. During the ladies luncheon on Tuesday, Mrs. Doris Reese of Great Falls will be speaking on “The Gift of Vulnerability.”
Shawn Kennedy
Lead Pastor of Church at the Shores & Executive Director of Fresh Start Network
Our guest speaker for 2023 IGNITE is Rev. Dr. Shawn Kennedy. Shawn is originally from southern Alabama and attended Nyack College where he graduated with degrees in psychology and pastoral ministries. Shawn moved out to San Diego, CA and planted Existence Church and led that ministry for fifteen years. Shawn also completed a masters degree at Alliance Theological Seminary and later Doctorate of Ministry in Global Leadership and Spiritual Formation. Along the way, Shawn met his future wife, Rebekah, who graduated from Toccoa Falls College and they married in May of 2008. Together they are the proud parents of Margaret and Macallan.
In 2015, God led Shawn and Rebekah back home to southern Alabama where Shawn replanted and serves as Lead Pastor of Church at the Shores in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Shawn also serves as the Executive Director for the Fresh Start Network which is a ministry focused on replanting life-giving churches that make a difference in their community. Additionally, Shawn serves as an Adjunct Professor of Pastoral Ministries for San Diego (CA) Christian College and is the author of Kingdom Come: A Gospel-Centered Discipleship Journey.. . Shawn loves Jesus, Chick Fil-A and SEC Football — in that order!
