Important SE Asia Missions Opportunity
Recently we received a request from TLB (RMD IWs to SE Asia) to assist with an important project in SE Asia. One of the in-country couples that TLB have worked with has utilized water projects as a platform to provide needed services to indigenous minority people groups and to share the gospel with them. Recently the government cracked down on this kind of non-profit work and expelled the organization from the country – right in the middle of a new project. The indigenous people group could not understand why a Christian organization suddenly stopped helping them. Thus, this couple has felt compelled to continue their work on their own. However, without support from the parent organization, funding has been a major hurdle. A local in-country church has provided some funding to complete the project, but they are still about $5,000 short. Would you consider bringing this need before your church? Gifts can be made online at rmdcma.com/give or sent to the District Office with “SE Asia Water Project” in the check memo.give now
