2024 Breaking the Barriers Grant Info & Application

Barriers to ministry growth are present in every ministry context, whether that is an existing church, a redevelopment church, or a church plant. The RMD has a history of working directly and indirectly with all three types of churches. Much energy and financial support has been poured into all three areas.

The Breaking the Barriers (BTB) grant specifically allows existing accredited RMD churches to apply for a two-year grant in the amount of no more than $20,000. This grant would provide supplemental funding enabling existing churches to break through ministry, staff, or facility barriers.

Get more information by clicking the link below. Applications are due by July 15th.

Curriculum or Hard Pass?

In the most recent episode, Ben and Harry chat through some of the numerous types of curriculum to choose from. There are subscription-based curriculums, shorter series that run 4-8 weeks or longer, video series, and more! They share some pros & cons of each, how to discern and choose with wisdom, and then give some points for how to develop one yourself for your youth ministry!

Missions

RMD IW Need!

Stephen and Anna are returning to the States for a shortened Home Assignment this summer. Their plan is to arrive sometime in May/June and return in January 2025. In past home assignments they have lived with friends in Cut Bank, MT and have driven a vehicle that they owned prior to their departure to the mission field. This year, however, they find themselves in need of housing for the second half of their Home Assignment as their friends are selling their house, as well as looking for a vehicle as their car has finally bit the dust.

If you know of an affordable housing situation and/or a reliable vehicle option, please email or call Chris. Feel free to share this need with your church, however please do not post anything on social media or in other online formats.
